KDSAP

A Nationwide Movement

The national Kidney Disease and Screening Awareness Program (KDSAP) was created by Dr. Li-Li Hsiao (Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School) in 2008. KDSAP is a college student-run organization with three primary objectives:

  1. Providing kidney screenings and health education to underserved communities

  2. Furthering students' personal and career development

  3. Increasing interest in nephrology careers

KDSAP was first started at Harvard, and new chapters have since been founded at various universities, including Penn!
